Villa Landscaping
Villa Landscaping in Emirates Hills, Dubai | Full Garden Transformation
A full-plot rebuild that took a bare handover garden to a finished, professional landscape: new drainage falls, an imported soil profile, a stone terrace, feature planting, palms for immediate shade, and a fully zoned irrigation system. It’s the kind of villa landscaping project that comes up often in Emirates Hills, where plots are large and everything, right down to the soil, has to be built in from scratch.
This Emirates Hills villa came to us as a bare handover plot — no soil, no drainage, no planting — and over 8 weeks our team took it through to a fully finished 620 sq m landscape. The work covered site levelling, an imported loam soil profile, 180 sq m of natural turf lawn, an Italian travertine terrace, feature date palms, ornamental planting beds, and a fully zoned smart drip irrigation system. It’s the kind of full villa landscaping project Emirates Hills is known for, where the size of the plot means every stage has to be planned properly rather than pieced together.
The challenge
The Emirates Hills villa was handed over with a completely unfinished external area, leaving the team to establish the garden infrastructure from the ground up. The large 620 sq m plot required proper levels and drainage falls before soil and planting could be introduced, while the landscape also needed to create usable outdoor areas without making the garden feel fragmented. The main challenge was coordinating the hardscape, lawn, palms, planting beds and irrigation as one integrated landscape rather than treating each element as a separate installation.
Materials & features
Materials used: Italian travertine paving, imported sandy loam topsoil, Phoenix dactylifera date palms, drip irrigation with Netafim emitters, and stainless steel edging — all chosen to hold up through Dubai’s summer rather than just look good on handover day.
Features included: Zoned smart irrigation, feature date palms for instant shade, a stone terrace with shaded seating, and structured boundary planting — built as one cohesive garden rather than a collection of separate additions.
