Complete family villa garden installation from bare handover on a 510 sq m plot in The Valley. The scope included soil preparation and drainage, structural boundary planting for wind shelter using ghaf trees and bougainvillea, 300 sq m of Bermuda natural turf, a shaded sandstone seating terrace, a 10-zone drip irrigation system and bollard lighting across the garden.
The challenge
The 510 sq m bare plot needed to provide an open lawn for family activities while also creating shelter from wind and establishing privacy along the boundaries. The landscape required careful soil preparation, drainage and irrigation planning before the lawn, trees and seating terrace could be installed.
