Artificial Grass & Pergola Installation in Jumeirah Park, Dubai
This Jumeirah Park outdoor living project combines artificial grass installation and pergola construction to turn a compact townhouse garden into a usable extension of the home. The artificial lawn reduces watering and routine maintenance, while the aluminium pergola provides adjustable shade through motorised louvres. Integrated outdoor lighting and ceiling fans make the seating area practical during the evening, while screening planting adds privacy around the garden. This Jumeirah Park townhouse had an underused 45 sq m backyard that needed to become a practical outdoor living space with minimal maintenance. Our artificial grass installation team created a low-maintenance synthetic lawn around a level porcelain-tiled terrace, while our pergola contractors installed a freestanding powder-coated aluminium louvred pergola measuring 6m × 7.5m. The pergola includes motorised louvres, integrated LED strip lighting and twin outdoor ceiling fans over the seating area. The project combines artificial grass, pergola installation, hard landscaping and outdoor lighting into one coordinated garden design, creating a comfortable outdoor space suited to Dubai’s hot climate.
The challenge
The main challenge was maximising a compact 45 sq m Jumeirah Park townhouse garden without making it feel crowded. The owner wanted artificial grass, a shaded seating area, a usable terrace, lighting and privacy planting within the same space. The layout therefore had to carefully balance the pergola footprint with open lawn areas and circulation routes, while allowing the outdoor living area to function comfortably throughout the year.
Materials & features
Materials used: Premium artificial grass, powder-coated aluminium louvre system, 60x120 cm porcelain tiles, integrated LED strip lighting, motorised louvre controls and twin outdoor ceiling fans. The materials were selected for durability in Dubai’s heat, direct sunlight and humidity while keeping ongoing garden maintenance low.
