Beachfront pool terrace landscaping on a 420 sq m Palm Jebel Ali villa plot designed for full coastal exposure. The scope included salt-tolerant coconut and date palm planting, Paspalum coastal turf, marine-grade 316 stainless steel fixings and lighting, a wind-screened seating enclosure and low-litter salt-tolerant planting positioned close to the water.
The challenge
The beachfront location exposed the 420 sq m pool terrace to salt, wind and coastal conditions, requiring careful plant and material selection. The landscape also needed to maintain a clean poolside appearance while providing wind protection and a comfortable outdoor seating area.
