Villa Landscaping & Irrigation Upgrade in Arabian Ranches, Dubai
A complete villa landscaping and irrigation upgrade in Arabian Ranches, combining garden improvement with a new water-efficient irrigation system. The project included soft landscaping, lawn enhancement, ornamental planting, planting-bed preparation, garden edging and replacement of the existing irrigation network. Hydrozoned irrigation was introduced to deliver water according to the requirements of different planting areas, helping reduce unnecessary water use while supporting healthier landscape growth. The result is a more attractive and functional Arabian Ranches villa garden that is easier to maintain.
This Arabian Ranches villa required a complete garden improvement and irrigation system upgrade across a 400 sq m plot. Our landscaping team improved the existing lawn and planting areas, prepared new planting beds, installed garden edging and replaced the outdated irrigation system with a hydrozoned, water-efficient setup. The irrigation upgrade included Netafim pressure-compensating drip lines, a PVC irrigation mainline, filtration, automatic controls and a rain sensor. The landscaping works were planned together with the irrigation design so the finished garden would remain attractive, practical and easier to maintain throughout the year.
The challenge
The existing Arabian Ranches garden had different planting areas with varying water requirements, while the old irrigation system was no longer distributing water efficiently. The challenge was to improve the appearance of the garden while upgrading the irrigation infrastructure without disrupting the established villa landscape. The new design separated planting areas into irrigation zones, allowing lawn, ornamental planting and other landscape areas to receive more appropriate watering levels.
Materials & features
Materials used: Quality landscape soil, ornamental plants, lawn materials, Netafim pressure-compensating drip line, PVC irrigation mainline, 125-micron disc filter, Hunter Pro-C irrigation controller, rain sensor, pressure-compensating emitters and accessible valve boxes. The materials were selected to provide reliable irrigation performance and efficient water distribution across different planting zones.
