Tropical pool garden landscaping on a 330 sq m waterside villa plot in Damac Lagoons. The scope included tropical palms and frangipani planting, low-litter species positioned away from the water, a shaded louvred aluminium pergola dining zone, marine-grade stainless steel fixings and layered waterproof LED lighting designed to complement reflected lagoon light after sunset.
The challenge
The waterside villa garden needed a tropical resort-style appearance while keeping planting practical around the pool and lagoon-facing areas. Plant species had to be positioned carefully to reduce leaf litter near the water, while the pergola and lighting needed to create a comfortable evening entertaining environment.
