Waterfront villa pool terrace landscaping on a 310 sq m Damac Islands plot oriented towards the lagoon. The scope included polished stone pool coping, 80 sq m of bright artificial grass around the pool, tropical palms and low-litter flowering planting positioned away from the water, marine-grade stainless steel fixings and a three-zone lighting scheme designed to complement the lagoon reflections.
The challenge
The waterfront setting required a pool landscape that could maintain a clean appearance while making the most of the lagoon outlook. Planting needed to be carefully positioned away from the water to reduce leaf litter, while outdoor materials and lighting had to suit the exposed poolside environment.
